Came back fr the mission mtg and haven been nuahing till now...The whole team was prayed over @ service today, which was pretty cool. It was hilarious when denise turned to me while we were on the stage and whispered how cool it was to stand on the same stage as ps Khong. I couldn't agree more! Lotsa stuff has been happening and we r scheduled for another meeting tom @ jerem's hse. HAd a talk 2 ps HG on the way back and realised that we may have to do mroe than tweak our lesson plan. It's really tough trying to gauge and pitch the lesson at the students' level. So far it seems we r playing a guessing game and i was sharing w XH that i m feeling a lil' shaky after thinking abt the lesson. Blame it on my high 'S' but am realli starting to feel destabilised. Shall spend wat is left of tonite to think thru again and see what improvements can be made. If it all works out well, it's indeed God's grace that pulled us thru!
Felt God's strong presence today during worship. Maybe it's becoz i haven been able to go for the last 2 services.
Oh yes...and today's Shufang & Watson's big day! COngrats to this sweet couple!!It seemed ages that they were together so it was extra nice to see them walk down the aisle! Was helping as an usher...which i tot was nothing much but legs were aching like hell. After taking down all teh decor and flowers, we realised that we had no food left! That was the most disappointing part of it all. Was actualli trying to guess wat food was in the buffet trays...think i saw a har gaw skin lying somewhere and bits of bee hoon strewn around. Thk gdness we managed to grab the uncle's ice-cream...one buck but he heaped loads into our cup. Happiness =)
Wats cool abt the wedding was also the guests. Long-lost frens...old ppl from cell...ppl u cant rem their names but knoe them fr somewhere. All of them congregate at this one place. There was something or rather someone who disturbed me @ the wedding. Met shir while i was ushering and to my horror, i realised that i could smell strong wafts of alcohol coming from her. Seemed that the nite before was her company's d & d and she drank a lil too much so it was a hangover thingy. My take on the matter? Well, it'll certainly take barrels of alcohol to make it smell as if they r oozing out of ur pores the next afternoon! After the shower and all, there shouldnt be such evident smell. Jus being objective here. Anyway, told her in a jesting manner that she should watch it and be careful.
Another strange part of the wedding: at least 3 persons had came up to me to ask where Eugin was when they saw shir (each at seperate occasions. LOL..as if i was the couple's spokeswoman! Kinda amusing =) Anyway, if u realli wanna knoe, he's @ work in beijing. Shir revealed that she's flying over w her sisters to pay him a visit for 2 weeks, till after xmas.
Best part of the event was meeting mich again...sigh...ever my doll!=) Fixed to meet for dinner after i come back fr china so i can hardly wait!! Was realli glad she shared her current state w me so openly even though we haven seen each other for eons. I thank God for a shepherd like her...sometimes i feel we r juz a big and small version of the same thing. Haha. Well, we r born on the same day. Beat that!
Actualli teared a lil when shufang was appreciating her dad. Felt dis lump @ my throat, extremely touched at the way she described how he has been a blessing in her life. Was imaginaing wat i wld say if i was the bride. V interesting indeed!
Been too busy to realli blog how i feel..esp those contemplative moods and feelings, so it seems as if this blog is super-hyped w bimbotic exclamations of adoration and love for a certain someone/ones. Maybe when things start to slow down i'll be more able to pen down those whirling thoughts that tend to keep me awake till 4am in the morn. Give me some time. Meanwhile, more bimbotic sharings as they r easier to blog.
Miracles do happen! Tis really the season of receiving blessings! Firstly, i officially finished J's Grandeur de D major (in Taiwanese chinese no lest)! Of coz it helped as the book wasn't realli tough and there were loads of pics in between. Interesting insight into the talented man's thoughts. Mesmerised me even more...sigh. The hilarious bits were when he described an incident in china when he had a new bodyguard. As soon as he stepped out, he realised he was being carried fr the car all the way to the lift! The anxious and slightly embarrassed bodyguard den claimed he was too panicky as he saw so many fans ard and though there mite be danger. The experience was described as a mother kangeroo carrying her joey. (That is, if i got the translation rite)Interesting...lol
Rational nadir speaking now: if the book had printed all the words together and not spread them out, it prob be only a quarter of the present thickness and perhaps also a quarter if the price?! Next time i c J in concert, i can safely say i paid for a portion of his ugly tassel-like get-up!
2nd blessing: His live concert double cds are coming out soon on dec 14 and it comes with ALL the MVs fr the Orange Jasmine album!!!*GAWK*

Meanwhile, plans for the KL concert thing aint materialising much since urs truly haven had time to ask around. Hmm..sensing mission about to be aborted...oh well. I shall satisfy myself w an iPod and a digi cam. Its beginning to sound more exciting!!!
Tink next week's gonna be hectic as usual. Fr my organiser, most days r already crossed out, leaving wed the onli day to realli pack and get ready the stuff. Feeling pretty uneasy already. Shall use jerem's list as a guide in case i miss out smthing. Will definitely feel idiotic if i had left smthing essential in spore! Something in the back of my head tells me i juz mite/will...
