Miracles!2005 will mark the day I ventured to chinatown for the first time at night during CNY period! Proud to say I survived and even managed to get a couple of things despite being the only unenthusiastic one. U wldnt believe the looks i get from the others in the grp...haha. It wasnt that bad at first, with mild cny songs (without singing) playing the backgrd. Den came those cny songs that you cant miss...wooooahh...
They didnt teach that in retail management..so advice to store owners...lay off those cny ditties!
Anyway, I hereby pronounce that I am a true-blue chinese from now on!Wooo
Meanwhile, indulging in more of J with the arrival of his concert dvd. Sigh...
Must admit i was torn b/w the vcd (which i can enjoy on my comp, laptop, basically anywhere and a totalli useless poster) or the dvd (which the salesgirl mentioned it contains some backstage stuff)...
Found pastor's sermon on marriage today pretty interesting. Spoke abt finding a 'suitable mate' and he brought up that the greatest blessing in a marriage will prob be when ur mate is totalli diff from u (in terms of character, strengths and weaknesses). Hmm..does that mean whoever comes along the way will prob be a high D and high C person? *shudder*
