Pissed with a CAPITAL PThere comes a time in everyone's life when you simply can't take the stupidity of yourself and others and just want to slam your whole face into the wall.
Such a time has now come...for me.
I should have checked the darn paper IN DETAIL and METICULOUSLY. Alas, it is not in my nature to have any one of the two. To think I went down to the printing room 3 times and I failed to spot the errors. Call me blind.
Besides hating myself to bits now, I just wanna shred a few ppl to bits too. The person who sent down the darn EDITED paper, who went on to mix the EDITED with the NON-EDITED version, causing a fusion of sorts. THe person who did not come back to me when she spotted the errors. THe person who (seriously..intention was kind) edited an error for me by calling me when i was in camp and hence i gave access to the UNEDITED copy on my laptop, clearly indicating it was UNEDITED. Of cos, it came out wrong and that was the errata that i did not make.
Nevertheless, it doesnt shit just once. Another spelling error was spotted on the exam day itself, and this error was never brought up to me when the paper was apparently vetted. Then, cos of the EDITED-UNEDITED combo, my cloze ended up with one page belonging to the UNEDITED and the other EDITED.
Found another EDITED-UNEDITED swop when i went back and compared the two.
I swear I'll visit my optician twice a year faithfully. I hereby take responsibility for my oversight and pray that the other person will take hers.
Cream of the cake? Someone telling me its not serious and it's all coz i was in camp, cannot help it. I admit to my sinful thought..if she was right in front of me, I might have just socked her in the eye.
