Have been spending my days at KKH since last Sat. It has indeed been a blessing that He allowed all these to happen at this time..if not for the Labour Day holiday, I would not be able to be present during my sis's op. That will definitely have been tough.
Was shopping with my sis on Sat late afternoon for polo t-shirts (for choir on Sun) when she felt dull pain at the side of her abdomen getting stronger and unbearable. Told her to go to doc and got mum to get the appointmt. Came back later w doc's letter advising us to go KKH for scan but radiology dept was closed @ that time. Brought her to Thomson M. for ultrasound since mum was able to get her colleague to come back just for that.
Can see God's blessings thru it all, like what mum said. He provided a sonographer whonot only helped to scan and explain the situation but went w us to KKH to mt the medical doc on duty. It's only thru these that my sis's condition was diagnosed quickly and admission prompt. CT scan ordered on Sun morn, op scheduled for mon morn. It just went like clockwork and He gave us a doc who was so willing to share with us the condition and implications so patiently.
She was discharged one day earlier than expected and all's been ok so far.
